Bryan hails from Dallas, Texas, where he began his career as the Assistant Technical Director at the Dallas Theater Center. He is a member of the Artistic Ensemble at Kitchen Dog Theater and there has designed many shows including Much Ado About Nothing, Reckless, Cloud Tectonics, Buried Child and, most recently, The Pillowman. Bryan has also worked with Dallas’ internationally acclaimed Undermain Theater. His many credits there include, The Deatherians, Therese Raquin, Blasted, A Number and the world premier collaboration of Waiting for a Train.
These and designs at other local theaters have earned him several awards from the Dallas Theater League, Critic's Forum and John Garcia’s The Column.
Bryan received a Bachelor’s degree in Drama from the University of Dallas in 2004. He will complete his Master of Fine Arts degree in Scenic Design for the Theater at Southern Methodist University in May 2009.
